Heat Transfer Thermic Fluids Oils offeredfind use in carrying thermal energy in metal working, process heating as well as machine cooling applications by providing support for heat transfer as well as meeting demands of providing cooling within machinery. Further, these provide indirect heating or cooling without coming in contact with machinery/equipment. Applications:

• It is ideal for a wide range of closed-to-atmosphere (inertly sealed) application. Extensively used in textile manufacturing chemical and processing plants etc, where the oil is circulated in a pumped system operating under atmospheric pressure.

HP Thermic Oil, specifically the Hytherm series, comes in two main grades: Hytherm 500 and Hytherm 600. Hytherm 500 is recommended for maximum temperatures of 290°C, while Hytherm 600 can handle higher temperatures up to 320°C in indirect, closed fluid heat transfer systems. Both grades offer high thermal and mechanical stability, resistance to washing out and corrosion, and reduced friction. 

Shell Heat Transfer Oil S2 is non-corrosive and has high solvency – this reduces deposit formation by holding oxidation products in solution and keeping internal surfaces of heat exchangers clean.
